Introduction

I'm trying to make this page have to do with everything I do related to the field of electrical engineering. My favorite endeavor is to share as much unclassified information as I can so that others can leapfrog over my achievements and makes some new and innovative advances.

Node Voltage and Current Loop Methods for Circuit Analysis - Example with detailed instruction on how to use both methods to solve given unknowns. Written by Shane Cantrell.
Simple Transient Responses - Simple RC and LC circuit examination. Written by Shane Cantrell.
Phasors - What are phasors and how they relate to circuits. Written by Shane Cantrell.
General OpAmp Feedback (4-22-2000) - How to develop and conceptually visualize OpAmp configurations that perform analog functions. This includes fixed gain, multiplication, division, exponential, logarithmic, square, square root, and peak detection.
Using a Real OpAmp (5-1-2000) - How a real OpAmp differs from an ideal one, and how to use it. This also gives the pinout diagram for an LM741.
Using Spice (12-14-2001) - A simple document that talks about how to use the Spice circuit simulator. It's made to demonstrate the WinSpice version of Spice, but is a good reference for other versions as well.

Lab Design Ideas

Through my own experience in interacting with other students and being a student myself, I have my own conceptions on how to make good labs and lab books. My experience in UC Berkeley's labs left me with bitter recollections of poorly designed labs which never were revised because noone wanted to take the time. They were rife with errors, ambiguities, and excessive length.

EECS40 (Introduction to Electrical Engineering at UC Berkeley) Lab Ideas - I designed these to show some people working on a new lab at UC Berkeley. Unfortunately they are busy and I don't feel like designing more until I get some feedback from them on what is and what isn't liked.
